PURPOSE: An energy collecting apparatus for a desalination system using reverse osmosis is provided to minimize the loss of pressure energy in high-pressure concentrated water, to prevent the internal leakage of the high-pressure concentrated water inside a valve body, and to remarkably reduce the facility, maintenance, and the operation costs for each valve. CONSTITUTION: An energy collecting apparatus for a desalination system using reverse osmosis includes a reverse osmosis module(3), at least a pair of power collection chambers(5), and a flow path switching valve(7). The power collection chambers transfer pressure of high-pressure concentrated water after the reverse osmosis from the reverse osmosis module, to low-pressure sea water supplied from the low-pressure raw water tank to a high-pressure raw water tank. The flow path switching valve supplies the high-pressure concentrated water discharged from the reverse osmosis module to the power collection chambers, alternately. The flow path switching valve includes a pipe(30), an actuating rod, and plural suction or drain valves. Suction or draining seat units are protruded from each cross-neighboring inlet, outlet, and drain port around the inner periphery of the pipe. The actuating rod is installed inside the pipe to be moved forward and backward toward the axial direction by an actuator. Suction or draining jamming units are protruded on the outer periphery of the actuating rod for corresponding to each seat unit. Suction or draining valve bodies are installed on the outer periphery of the actuating rod. The Suction or draining valve bodies limit the flow of fluid using the seat units by repeatedly being attached to and detached from the corresponding seat units.
