PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a display device including the same are provided to diffuse the light leaking between light guide plates by using a light diffusion member. CONSTITUTION: A light source unit(220) includes a plurality of light source units and at least one printed circuit board. The light source unit is arranged in the space between the light guide plates(210). An optical member(230) is arranged between the light guide plate and the display panel. A light diffusing member(250) diffuses the light leaking between the light guide plates.
