PURPOSE: A sensor unit and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to steadily deliver a signal by solidifying electrical connection between a signal sensing part and a signal transferring part which are stably assembled in an insert. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit includes an insert(100), a cable terminal(200), a cable(220), and a body. The insert is provided with a sensor mounting groove where the sensor(400) is mounted. The hook(110) is protruded from the outer side surface of the insert. The cable terminal is arranged in a longitudinal direction of the insert in order to be connected electrically with the sensor. The cable terminal is prepared with a latching protrusion from the one side which is hanged onto a hook and fixed. The cable is electrically connected with the cable terminal. The body is insert-molded to surround the insert where the sensor, the cable terminal and a cable are mounted.
