PURPOSE: A sound-absorbing material and a sound-absorbing door are provided to form a sound-absorbing layer with a porous charcoal, thereby effectively removing sound energy by the sound-absorbing layer so that excellent sound absorbing and soundproof effectiveness are provided. CONSTITUTION: A charcoal sound-absorbing layer(50) is filled inside a unit cell(21). The charcoal sound-absorbing layer(50) is filled from a backing material to a certain height. A vibration and sound-absorbing space part(25) is formed between the charcoal sound-absorbing layer(50) and a front plate(30). An external sound wave enters the unit cell(21) through the through-holes(35) of the front plate(30). The external sound wave vibrates inside vibration and sound-absorbing space part(25) so that micro-vibration due to sound pressure is applied to the surface of the charcoal sound-absorbing layer(50). Therefore, the sound energy of the external sound wave is removed.
