The rail (2) is connected to the fixed frame (13), the door (12) being moved along it in the horizontal direction against and away from the frame. An arm can be formed by rope discs (3), each with a roller (4) at one side travelling in the rail and a spindle (5) on the other hinging on the door. A control mechanism acts on the arm, causing this to turn and tilt, and typically consists of a lever (6) coupled to the arm and moved on striking a stop (10) fixed to the rail. The arms can be actuated by a steel rope (8), this being also used to couple several arms together. The position of the stop in relation to the frame can be adjustable.
