PURPOSE: An airtight room of a refrigerator is provided to improve the beauty of a storage case made of transparent materials as the light from an light emitting element penetrates the storage case. CONSTITUTION: An airtight room(10) of a refrigerator comprises a case(100), a cold air guide unit(150), and a deodorizing and sterilizing unit. The case is placed in a storage chamber, and comprises a storage case(200). The cold air guide unit is placed at the lower part of the case, and guides cold air so that the cold air circulates in the storage chamber. The deodorizing and sterilizing unit is placed at the rear side of the case, and deodorizes and sterilizes the cold air. A barrier is formed on the lower edge of the case, and the cold air flows from the front side to the rear side of the cold air guide unit. The deodorizing and sterilizing unit comprises a mounting panel fixed to the rear end of the case, a photocatalyst deodorizer mounted on the mounting panel, and a light emitting element. The case and the storage case are made of transparent materials, and light penetrates through the case and the storage. |
