PURPOSE: A pager system and a control method with an advertisement function and an impression reporting function are provided to count impressions and supply the counted impressions to an advertiser through an advertisement management server, thereby enabling the advertiser to pay reasonable advertisement expenses. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(10) communicates with a sequential pager. A reset button(20) transmits an inherent ID to the sequential pager. An input port(40) inputs provided advertisement information during waiting. A memory(50) stores the advertisement information.
