FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 1,1,1,3-tetraphenylpropyne from a metal derivative of phenyl acetylene and triphenyl chloromethane in the medium of an organic solvent. The method is characterised by that the metal derivative of phenyl acetylene used is lithium tetraphenyl ethinyl alanate, and the organic solvent used is pure 1,4-dioxane. The reaction is carried out while heating at boiling point of the solvent for 1 hour.EFFECT: invention provides a method of producing 1,1,1,3-tetraphenylpropyne, which provides reproducible results with good output of the end product.1 cl, 1 ex |
