PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit capable of avoiding a saturation phenomenon due to the overexcitation of a common transformer by interrupting power supply from a power converting circuit immediately upon the failure of a switching element in a short circuit state. SOLUTION: A plurality of power converting circuits 5 comprising a power conversion switching element 12 performing on/off operation by receiving a DC voltage are provided on the primary side of a common transformer 1, and a secondary side DC output circuit 3 for supplying power from the plurality of power converting circuits 5 and 7 to a load 2 are provided on the secondary side of the common transformer 1. The power converting circuit 5, 7 is provided with a circuit 33, 34 for detecting short circuit failure of the power conversion switching element 12, 13 in the power converting circuit, and a switching element 18, 19 for interrupting the power converting circuit 5, 7 when a short circuit failure current detection signal is output from the short circuit failure current detection circuit 33, 34.
