PURPOSE: An evaporator for treating radioactive wastewater is provided to decrease the burden of operating a cooler by condensing low temperature vapor in a condenser. CONSTITUTION: A main evaporator(10) evaporates moisture included in wastewater by heating the wastewater. An assistant evaporator(20) heats the wastewater supplied from the main evaporator using steam generated from the main evaporator. Condensers(31,32) condense steam used as the heating source of the assistant evaporator. A condensate receiver tank(33) stores condensed water generated from the condenser.
