<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enhanced endoscope assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The enhanced flexibility auxiliary endoscope assembly for use with an endoscope 104 includes an elongate element and an elongate channel configured to be installed at different positions on a distal end portion of the endoscope, wherein the elongate channel is configured to accomodate the elongate element up to where the length of the elongate channel is variable, at least one of the elongate element and the elongate channel is flexible, and the variable length varies depending on the curvature of the endoscope 104. The endoscope assembly also includes a flexible sleeve 110.
