<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device capable of maintaining stable steering feeling by suppressing rapid change in a current offset value. <P>SOLUTION: In a motor control device, a detection current value of a drift current detected in a state that a motor current is considered as zero is set as a current offset value, and a detection current value of the motor current is compensated by the current offset value. The drift current is detected for each predetermined cycle T. A target offset value is set for each cycle T based on the detection current value of the detected drift current. When the current offset value is smaller than the target offset value, a correction value K is added to the current offset value. On the other hand, when the current offset value is larger than the target offset value, the correction value K is subtracted from the current offset value.
