<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge scraper that can continue operation even when an earthquake occurs and can prevent part of floating scum from remaining unremoved from the water surface of a sedimentation pond. <P>SOLUTION: The sludge scraper includes a chain 7 disposed within a sedimentation pond, flight movable bodies 8 driven by the chain 7, a pond bottom guide rail 12 and a water surface guide rail 10 that guide the flight movable bodies 8 during their travel, and a guard member 27 that restrict the upward displacement of the flight movable bodies 8 traveling along the water surface guide rail 10. The sludge scraper is so constituted that the guard member 27 is situated above the water surface of the sedimentation pond and no structure that traverses the water surface of the sedimentation pond is present between the side wall 1b of the sedimentation pond and the side surface 8a of the flight movable body 8 situated nearest thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
