<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article monitoring device in which a master unit held by a user communicates with a slave unit attached to an article by wire and others and in which alarm output is performed when both units are separated and in which the slave unit attached to the article can be detached safely and easily. <P>SOLUTION: A slave unit 3 comprises a lock part 15 which moves between the lock position and the release position of wire 4, an operation part 25 which moves the lock part to the release position by the operation of a user, a prevention part 27 which moves between the prevention position for preventing the operation of the operation part and the non-prevention position, and an engaging part 35 which is integrated with the prevention part and which moves the prevention part to the non-prevention position by being pressed by the master unit when the master unit is connected with the slave unit. The wire 4 can be released by connecting the master unit with the slave unit and by pressing the operation part 25 so as to move the lock part 15 to the release position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
