PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption on performing viewing angle control in a display unit according to ambient environment.

SOLUTION: A viewing angle control unit controls a viewing angle of a viewing angle variable display unit on the basis of location information acquired by a location information acquisition unit (GPS). However, when it is determined that a user uses public transportation for a predetermined action such as commuting on the basis of communication results of an RFID tag and communication history information of the RFID tag, the viewing angle control unit performs control to narrow the viewing angle, after stopping operation of the location information acquisition unit.
