PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to use a service at ease with simple settings.

SOLUTION: An operation part inputs user identification information for identifying each user who receives a service from a service providing device which provides a service via a network. An acquisition part acquires device identification information for identifying a cooperative device from the cooperative device which can provide the service in cooperation with the service providing device. A communication transmits the user identification information input by the operation part and the device identification information acquired by the acquisition part to the service providing device, receives authorization information indicating that the cooperation with the cooperative device at the time of providing the service is authorized in response to the transmission of the user identification information and the device identification information, from the service providing device, and informs of the received authorization information to the cooperative device. This can be applied to a communication device etc. which receives a service available in a network.
