The invention relates to an activation device (1) for activating a switch, particularly a power switch, having a lever (10) pivotable about an axis (13) and having a first arm (11) comprising an activation element (2), which brings about an activation of the switch in an activation direction (20) upon a movement. The shock resistance of said device can be improved without any substantial increase of the drive power by the pivoting lever (10) having a second arm (12) disposed relative to the first arm (11) such that a first torque (M1) acts upon the lever (10) when a force acts upon the axis (13) in a direction opposite the activation direction (20) via the first arm (11), and a second torque (M2) acts on said lever (10) via a second arm (12), wherein the first torque (M1) and the second torque (M2) are directed opposite each other. |
