<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery mounting structure for a vehicle where batteries can be replaced at a vehicle side, while a door of an opening for a passenger is closed. <P>SOLUTION: A getting on/off opening 42 and a side door 43 for opening and closing the getting on/off opening 42 are provided at the side of a vehicle cabin 3. A battery storage part 30 for storing a battery 20 is provided below a front panel 5 of the vehicle cabin 3.
