<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and suitable geothermal heat utilization system capable of effectively utilizing geothermal heat and constructing the whole system at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The geothermal heat utilization system performs thermal exchange between thermal medium and the ambient ground around circulation pipes to utilize geothermal heat by laying a circulation pipe 4 in the ground to circulate the thermal medium where the circulation pipes are laid in the pipes of various kinds of embedded pipe lines (existing rainwater drainage pipe line 2 or the like). The circulation pipes are laid while being brought into close contact with the inner surface in the embedded pipe line to permit thermal exchange with the ambient ground via a pipe wall of the embedded pipe line. A filler layer 7 formed of a filler such as mortar is formed around the circulation pipe and the circulation pipe is laid in a heat insulation state in the embedded pipe lines. The existing rainwater drainage pipe lines 2 are utilized as the embedded pipe lines.
