PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device which enables display of a moving image and animation or display of interactive representation such as a GUI with high contrast, on a display apparatus including: a reflective display member like electronic paper; and a transparent display member that is highly responsive to rewriting and is placed on the reflective display member.

SOLUTION: A display control device is provided which includes a display control unit for controlling display on a first display member of reflective type and display on a second display member of self-emitting type that is provided to be placed on a display surface of the first display member and that can pass therethrough display on the first display member. To display predetermined information on the first display member and on the second display member, the display control unit performs predetermined display control either to the first display member for an area corresponding to an area where the second display member displays information, or to the second display member for an area corresponding to an area where the first display member displays information.
