Stable aqueous emulsions for permanent hair colors

Aqueous hair color emulsions contain oxidation hair dye precursor(s) and, as thickeners, 1-10 wt.% copolymer(s) (I) of acrylic acid and an optionally ethoxylated 8-20 carbon (C) alkyl methacrylate; and have a viscosity of 2500-25000 mPa.s at 20 deg C (Brookfield viscosimeter RVT). An Independent claim is also included for the production of stable hair color emulsions.
