A press apparatus is provided to reduce load which is put on a panel and to reduce a forming defect by pressing/bending the panel by a preceding cam and then reducing a distance to which a cam steel applies load to the panel. A press apparatus comprises a cam driver(50), a cam slider(52), a cam steel(54), and a preceding cam(56). The cam driver is moved vertically. The cam slider is slid back and forth when the cam driver is lifted up and down. The cam steel, which is placed at the cam slider, forms a panel(60) with a predetermined shape. The preceding cam, which is placed at the cam slider, presses the panel before the cam steel is contacted with the panel. The preceding cam is projected toward the panel. An actuator supports the preceding cam. The actuator includes a hydraulic cylinder(66). A rotary shaft(58) is rotated to support the panel. A hydraulic cylinder(64) supports the cam slider. |
