PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a change in a water level in the course of a cleaning operation. SOLUTION: In bath equipment 2 enabling execution of the cleaning operation for filtering bathtub water while it is circulated between a bathtub 1 and a circulation passage 3, a water level checking process wherein a change in the water level is checked on the basis of a detection output of a level sensor 21 of a pressure sensing type in a state of a circulating pump 4 being stopped at a required time in the cleaning operation, is executed. According to this constitution, a dynamic pressure fluctuating due to the circulating pump 4 is not put on the level sensor 21 in the water level checking process, and therefore detection of the water level can be executed accurately.
