PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high speed data transfer and low power consumption by reducing the number of times of row access. SOLUTION: A pattern of a memory region selected by specifying a word line mode by a word line mode control circuit (106) in a memory array (101) is changed. In a line mode, a memory cell of the same row is selected, and in a box mode, memory cells of different rows are selected simultaneously.
