PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise-absorbing drive container that contains removable recording media such as a magnetic disk drive, can suppress drive noise, is superior in anti-shock and heat radiation properties, allows small size design for portability and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: The drive container 503 is for containing the magnetic disk drive 1, is composed of the cover side 403 and bottom side 303 of the container. The cover side 403 and bottom side 303 of container respectively have container frames 706 and 705, panels 606 and 605, and gaskets 806 and 805, and the panels 606 and 605 respectively have a plural of clearance holes 1202 and 1201 arranged periodically. Spaces 1306 and 1305 are shaped between the panels 606 or 605 and the magnetic drive 1, forming Holmheltz resonators.
