摘要 A surface-mountable negative coefficient characteristic thermistor (1) based on a ceramic body. The ceramic body being composed of the following semiconductor elements Mangan (Mn), Cobalt (Co), and Titan (Ti). External electrodes (5) are disposed on surfaces of the ceramic body and plating films (6a,6b) are disposed on the external electrodes. The ceramic material being definied in that when the molar quantity of Mn in the semiconductor ceramic material is represented by a and when the molar quantity of Co in the semiconductor ceramic material is represented by c, -the molar ratio of Mn to Co is in the range of 10/90 ‰¤ a/c ‰¤ 70/30. Further, when the total molar quantity of Mn and Co in the semiconductor ceramic material is formed 100 parts by mole, then the added content of Ti is in the range of 1 part by mole to 30 parts by mole of these 100 parts.
