<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic substance formed body that reduces the usage of expensive elements while maintaining high coercive force and further has superior heat resistance in a motor environment etc. <P>SOLUTION: A concentration phase containing a concentration element having higher element density than average density in magnetic particles is incorporated in the interface between the magnetic particles constituting the magnetic substance formed body and an insulating film. Further, when the magnetic substance formed body is manufactured by molding with a bulk magnet by forming the insulating film on a surface of magnetic powder and then heating it in a pressure applied state, the surface of the magnetic powder is coated with a prescribed low-fusion-point material or its precursor before the insulating film is formed. Then, the insulating film is formed and the magnetic substance formed body is obtained through the heating and pressure application processing (molding processing) at prescribed temperature. Alternatively, while oxygen concentration in an atmosphere is increased in a pressure-reduced state, ionized metal elements are vapor-deposited on the surface of the magnetic powder to form an insulating film containing the metal elements on the surface of the magnetic powder, thus obtaining insulating coating magnetic powder. Then the obtained insulating coating magnetic powder is heated in a pressure-reduced state to obtain the magnetic substance formed body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
