PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image handling device, an image handing method and an image handling program for inferring a person by using a picture taken together with other person. SOLUTION: This image handling device is provided with a recording part 4 for recording image data. When an image 51 recorded therein is designated, the face of the person of the image 51 is detected by a face detection part 5. The image data having a face image similar to the face of the person of the image 51 is detected by a similarity detection part 11. Thus, it is possible to retrieve an image taken together with the person of the image 51, and the retrieved images 52, 53 and 54 are displayed adjacent to the image 51 on a display 8.
