PURPOSE: An anti-wart pharmaceutical composition containing a soluble extract of a Solanum plant is provided to treat wart without side effects. CONSTITUTION: An anti-wart pharmaceutical composition contains a soluble extract of a Solanum plant. The soluble extract contains 60 wt% or more of solamargine and solasonine. The pharmaceutical composition is used for treating common wart, flat wart, plantar wart, or genital wart. The pharmaceutical composition is used by topical administration. The pharmaceutical composition further contains water, alcohol, glycol, hydrocarbon, wax, preservative, antioxidant, surfactant, absorbing agent, stabilizing agent, gelling agent, wetting agent, smell absorbent, perfume, pH adjusting agent, chelating agent, emulsifier, blocking agent, softener, thickening agent, solubilizing agent, coloring agent, dispersing agent, or a combination thereof.
