The turbine rotor cooling air feed consists of a circuit drawing air in advance of the engine's combustion chamber (7) and controlled by a valve (120) as a function of the engine's operating mode. The air is drawn through orifices (162) in the combustion chamber housing (5), the flow being regulated by the valve, which is operated by the engine control computer, so that the supply of cooling air depends on the engine's operation in the different phases of the aircraft's flight.
