PURPOSE: A cone penetrometer is provided to simply change the weight of a knocking head or a weight by joining variable blocks to the knocking head or the weight detachably according to the depth of the ground, thereby performing various ground inspections with one tester. CONSTITUTION: A cone penetrometer comprises a rod(120), a knocking head(130), a weight(140), variable blocks(150,160), and clamping units(170,170',180,180'). A cone(110) is attached to the lower part of the rod. The weight is fitted into an outer side of the rod to be fallen from the upper part of the knocking head. The variable blocks are joined to the knocking head or weight detachably while moving with the rod, thereby reducing the weight of the knocking head or weight. The clamping member is installed in the variable blocks, thereby fixing the variable blocks to the knocking head or weight or separating the variable blocks from the knocking head or weight. |
