METHOD FOR TREATING PATIENTS FOR OPTIC NERVE AND RETINA DISEASES

FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing medical preparations in retrobulbar way during 10 days 4-6 times a day with 2-4 h long pauses through an orbital photoelectrode-catheter. Laserophoresis and direct laser stimulation are applied after the first retrobulbar introduction of the preparations, giving one session every day using therapeutic ophthalmologic laser device operating on wavelength equal to 0.633±0.003 mcm during 8-10 min in combination with drug electrophoresis introduced in retrobulbar way from positive pole and optic nerve and retina electrostimulation carried out with a device during 10-12 min one session a day. Electrostimulation is carried out in package mode with rectangular pulses having amplitude of 5-1000 mcA, pulsation frequency of 0.5-100 Hz, pulse duration of 1-500 ms. The pulses are collected in packages having 2-75 pulses in a pack with pause duration between packages equal to 0.5-60 s. The number of packages in one series is equal to 5-300. The number of series is 3-30 and pause duration between series is equal to 5-150 s. Laserophoresis with laser stimulation and electrophoresis with electrostimulation are applied in arbitrary sequence or given in single stage. ^ EFFECT: created required therapeutic concentration of medical preparations directly in retina and optic nerve; increased metabolism intensity; stimulated regeneration processes.
