PRIMER AND PROBE SET FOR DETECTION AND QUANTIFICATION OF LISTERIA MONOCYTOGENES

PURPOSE: A primer set for detecting Listeria monocytogenes and a composition containing the same for detecting Listeria monocytogenes are provided to enable quantitation of Listeria monocytogenes and to quickly and effectively diagnose contamination. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for detecting Listeria monocytogenes contains primers of sequence numbers 1 and 2. A composition for detecting Listeria monocytogenes contains the primer set. The composition contains the probe of sequence number 3. The probe is labeled with each fluorescent substance at 5' and 3' ends. A kit for detecting Listeria monocytogenes contains the composition. A quantitation method of Listeria monocytogenes comprises: a step of mixing samples which are gradually diluted by 10 times with a composition for analysis and preparing a gene analysis sample; a step of performing real-time PCR of the gene analysis sample; a step of quantitating PCR products and acquiring standard curve; and a step of quantitating DNA of bacteria extracted from a sample using the standard curve.
