PURPOSE: A residual heat removal and a containment cooling system using a passive auxiliary feed-water system for a pressurized water reactor are provided to use a water tub and a heat exchanger in a pressure containment vessel. CONSTITUTION: A passive auxiliary feedwater system includes a steam generator(10), a condensation bath(30), a vapor supplying pipe(11) and a condensed water recovery pipe(12). A steam generator generates vapor by using the heat of a nuclear reactor. The condensation bath comprises a heat exchanger(20). The vapor supplying pipe supplies the vapor generated in the steam generator to the heat exchanger. The condensed water recovery pipe supplies the condensed water of the heat exchanger to the steam generator.
