An apparatus for fabricating a flat display device is provided to remove a plurality of numbers of processes for setting a reference align point on a conventional mask stretching device by forming the reference align point on a plate of the mask stretching device. In an apparatus for fabricating a flat display device, an opening pattern selectively penetrating deposits, and a plurality of align points providing a reference when stretching at an outer area of the opening pattern, are formed on a mask. A plurality of grippers(163) stretches the mask by clamping the outer area of the mask. A plurality of reference align points(173) arranged with the plurality of align points of the mask is formed on a plate(177) corresponding to the mask. The grippers(163) stretches the mask to make the plurality of align points of the mask arranged on the plurality of reference align points(173) of the plate(177). |
