FIELD: electrical engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for fabrication of current sources (fuel cells), life support systems, gas regeneration in enclosed electrolytic cells, oxygen pumps, transducers, etc. Proposed method comprises impregnating high-porosity cerium substrate with metal salts to be decomposed to cerium oxide. Pre-impregnated substrate is heated to temperature some 300° - 400° higher than operating temperature. Thereafter, oxygen partial pressure is sharply varied.EFFECT: improved specific temperatures, increased stability in time. |
