IMPROVEMENT OF CONCRETE PROPERTIES BY LOADING A CONCRETE WITH MICRO-DISPERSANTS

The invention relates to the field of construction, in particular to oncrete and/or reinforced concrete structures. In order to design a concrete mix, there is used specially prepared water suspension of silica fume containing micro- and nano-size particles with increased surface activity. The increased surface activity is achieved by secondary particle disaglomeration by means of apparatus using high turbulent flow which provides hydrodynamic cavitation process. The usage of specially treated silica fume water suspension in concrete provides stable increase of compressive strength in range of 4 to 6 %. This effect was determined for concrete mixes with various silica fume water ratios in water suspension, cement volume, water cement ratio, and curing environment.
