<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ottoman device for a vehicle seat that achieves the holding both of a link mechanism in a shortened condition and a lock operation lever at a lock permissible position using a mechanism having a simple structure and low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The ottoman device for the vehicle seat includes: a fixing part 14 fixed to the vehicle seat; an ottoman 32 movable between a storing position adjacent to the fixing part 14 and a using position; a moving mechanism 15 for moving the ottoman 32 between the storing position and the using position; a locking mechanism 28 in using which is movable between an unlock position allowing the movement of the moving mechanism 15 and a lock position regulating the movement; a lock operation lever 48 for moving the locking mechanism 28 in using between a lock permissible position and a lock release position being the unlock position; and a locking member 57 in storing that holds the ottoman at the storing position by engaging the engagement member 28 in storing which is arranged at the moving mechanism 15 with another engagement member 28 in storing which is arranged at the lock operating lever 48, and holding the lock operation lever 48 at the lock permissible position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
