<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler head being installed in a long period of time and, in case of a fire, being operated by quick melt of a low-melting-point alloy. <P>SOLUTION: A sprinkler head includes: a body 1 having a nozzle 7 to be connected to a pipe of a fire-extinguishing apparatus; a valve element 3 for stopping the nozzle 7; a thermosensitive body pressing and retaining a low-melting-point alloy 20 stored in a cylinder 19 by a plunger 21; and a thermosensitive decomposition part 5 causing the valve element 3 to open the closing of the nozzle 7 when the plunger 21 moves into the cylinder 19 by softening or melting of the low-melting-point alloy 20 that senses a fire.
