PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement ventilation system for an electrical machinery chamber capable of saving energy. SOLUTION: In this displacement ventilation system for ventilating the electrical machinery chamber 10 by supplying the outside air into the electrical machinery chamber 10 having an electrical machinery and apparatus 11 generating heat, and discharging the indoor air rising by being heated in the electrical machinery chamber 10, an air supply fan 17 is disposed in an air supply duct 16 for supplying the outside air into the electrical machinery chamber 10, a bypass duct 20 is connected for taking out a part of the outside air from the air supply duct 16 and returning the same into the air supply duct 16 again, a cooling device 21 for cooling the outside air is disposed in the bypass duct 20, an air supply opening 25 for supplying the outside air into the electrical machinery chamber 10 is formed at a height not over the electrical machinery and apparatus 11, and an air discharge port 35 for discharging the indoor air from the electrical machinery chamber 10 is formed at an upper part with respect to the electrical machinery and apparatus 11.
