<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a UWB pulse sensor which can remove influence of an external interference wave and detects the distance to a target with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: A detection wave generation part 15 oscillates detection waves in sequence while arranging frequency points, including an in-use frequency point set, of an all-frequency-point set obtained by equally dividing frequencies f<SB POS="POST">min</SB>-f<SB POS="POST">max</SB>at intervals Δf according to a discrete frequency-point series. A reflection wave generated by reflecting a detection wave by the target is received and then phase-detected by a phase detector 10 to generate a phase point series corresponding to the frequency points. An absence compensation part 11 rearranges frequency points corresponding to the phase points in the increasing or decreasing order, and interpolates phase points corresponding to absent frequency points to calculate an interpolated phase point series. A discrete Fourier transformation part 12 performs inverse discrete Fourier transformation on the interpolated phase point series to generate a range spectrum, and calculate the distance from an antenna to the target from a peak phase value of the range spectrum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
