<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan or the like capable of achieving low noise and high efficiency by uniforming the circumferential direction flow rate distribution of air flow even when there exists the nonuniformity of the distance between an outer circumferential edge of the fan and a sidewall. <P>SOLUTION: An outdoor unit includes: a fan 5 having a plurality of blades 4 around a rotary shaft 17; a bell mouth 7 for rectifying the gas by forming a wall surface constituting a straight tubular section forming a cylindrical wall surface, an outlet part forming the gas blowout side from the straight tubular section and an inlet part forming the gas suction side outside outer circumferential ends of the blades along the rotational direction of the blades of the fan 5; and an outdoor unit body 19 which forms a fan room 1 and forms a rectangular parallelopiped-shaped casing having a blowout port to meet the outlet part of the bell mouth 7 in the direction of the rotary shaft 17. In the inlet part of the bell mouth 7, the distance between the rotary shaft 17 and a bell mouth upwind side end part 15 is longer than the distance between the rotary shaft 17 and the wall surface in the straight tubular section, and further, the distance between the rotary shaft at a section, in which the distance between the wall of the outdoor unit and the straight tubular section is short, and the bell mouth upwind side end part 15 is longer than the distance between the rotary shaft corresponding to a corner part of the outdoor unit, in which the distance from the straight tubular section is long, and the bell mouth upwind side end part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
