<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that is reduced in cyclic current when loaded and when having copper loss. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the rotary electric machine that has a plurality of stator slots on an inner peripheral side, and also has a stator core in which stator coils are wound around the plurality of stator slots so as to form parallel circuits equal in number of parallel-connected coil circuits for respective phases and each of the stator coils has a double layer so as to constitute a lower port coil on an outer peripheral side and an upper port coil on an inner peripheral side. The rotary electric machine is characterized in that a slot pitch of connection between the upper port coil and the lower port coil of the stator coil is equal among coil circuits of respective poles of the rotary electric machine. When N<SB POS="POST">p</SB>is the number of the poles, N is the number of coil circuits of the parallel circuit (where N is an integer equal to or larger than 4), and Q<SB POS="POST">s</SB>is the number of slots of each pole and each phase, A represented by A=N<SB POS="POST">p</SB>/N is not an integer while B represented B=Q<SB POS="POST">s</SB>A is a positive integer, and the number of slots where the upper port coil and the lower port coil are in the same phase is equal among the respective coil circuits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
