<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape feeder of which width dimension can be reduced as much as possible while securing accuracy of a stop position of a carrier tape. <P>SOLUTION: In a driving system for driving to rotate a sprocket 20 of a tape feeding mechanism, a projection 23a on one side face of a sprocket gear member 23 is fitted to a circular opening 20b provided to the sprocket 20 to connect coaxially with the sprocket 20, and a shaft portion 23b provided projecting on the other side face is pivotally supported by a bearing portion 38 fixed to a frame member 24 of a feeder body. A rotating magnetic disk 40 of a magnetic type encoder is embedded in the projection 23a to rotate integrally with the sprocket 20, and an absolute rotating position of the sprocket 20 is detected by a detector 41 opposing to the rotating magnetic disk 40. Therefore, while accuracy of a tape stop position is secured, a width dimension B of a tape feeder 5 can be reduced as much as possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
