LOCK AND METHOD OF OPERATION OF A LOCK

There is provided a lock including one or more movable locking members movable between a non-actuated position and an actuated position following actuation of the same in use. An intermediate movable member is arranged with respect to the one or more movable locking members such that the intermediate member is moved from a first position to a second position on movement of said locking members from the non- actuated position to the actuated position. A locking bolt is connected to or associated with the intermediate member. The locking bolt is movable from a locked position to an unlocked position in use on movement of the intermediate member from the first position to the second position. The lock further includes additional locking means arranged to prevent movement, directly or indirectly, of the intermediate movable member from the first position to the second position until one or more pre-determined conditions are met.
