PURPOSE: An audio signal processing apparatus and an audio encoding/decoding system are provided to process an audio signal and to easily prevent repetitive process of an audio signal by inserting the pattern into the audio signal. CONSTITUTION: An examination unit(110) examines whether a predetermined pattern is inserted. If the pattern is not inserted, a signal processing unit(120) performs predetermined signal processing about the audio signal. If the pattern is not inserted, a pattern insertion unit(130) inserts the pattern into the processed audio signal.
