<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality of a prediction signal. <P>SOLUTION: A decoding string generating section 203 obtains a code string, performs decoding string generation processing in response to a prescribed syntax structure, and generates at least residual motion vector information, residual encoded information and an encoding parameter, which belong to a region being a decoding object from the code string. A motion predicting section 208 performs prescribed motion prediction processing in response to motion information belonging to a decoded region, generates first reference information and generates first prediction motion vector information in a first reference picture specified on the basis of the first reference information. Correction prediction signal generating sections 210 and 211 derive second prediction motion vector information in a second reference picture specified on the basis of second reference information from the first prediction motion vector information, generate motion vector information by adding the derived second prediction motion vector information to the residual motion vector information and generate the prediction signal from the second reference picture in response to the generated motion vector information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
