OPTICAL COMMUNICATION METHOD, TRANSMITTER, RECEIVER, AND OPTICAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication method, transmitter, receiver, and optical communication system, capable of suppressing pulse-to-pulse interference at a mark/space level of a signal for generating a time-sharing multiple signal with the same wavelength in an optical region that is one of causes for deteriorating EVM, in a broadband ubiquitous network using a ubiquitous antenna system.

SOLUTION: The optical communication method, transmitter, receiver, and optical communication system improves receiver sensitivity by canceling only optical pulse-to-pulse interference using an upper-side band wave and a lower-side band wave of a phase modulation wave after using phase modulation without using conventional intensity modulation when modulating optical signals with a radio signal.
