<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine drawing the player's attention to symbols until the end. <P>SOLUTION: When a predetermined variation pattern is specified and sliding presentation is determined, a sub CPU variably displays symbols stopped and displayed on an active line again, excepting a symbol of a kind represented by a notice symbol, where a losing symbol combination is displayed on any of active lines, and the symbol of a kind represented by the notice symbol displayed is stopped and displayed on the active line.
