<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine for double-stitches, capable of forming stitches by catching a needle thread loop with two hook points rotating in the same direction, where upper threads are passed through a sewing needle symmetrically, and capable of forming double-stitches with excellent appearance in the right and left stitches. <P>SOLUTION: In the sewing machine for double-stitches, mutually different height positions of right and left needle holes can be achieved by varying the fitting heights of right and left sewing machine needles. Thus, by supplementing the difference in the discharging amounts of right and left upper threads generated by difference in right and left relative relations between the advancing direction of an object to be sewn and the needle and the rotation direction of a hook, the lengths of the upper threads forming the right and left stitches can be made to be equal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
